Abstract:

When we exercise, our muscles produce harmful substances that can make us feel tired and cause damage. Hydrogen water, which acts like a powerful antioxidant, can help counteract these effects.

In this study, we looked at how drinking hydrogen water before exercise affects fatigue and endurance. We did two experiments:

  • In the first one, we had people who weren't regular exercisers. They drank either hydrogen water or regular water before exercising on a bike. We found that those who drank hydrogen water felt less tired after exercising.
  • In the second experiment, we used people who were already trained. Again, they drank hydrogen water or regular water before exercising. This time, we found that the hydrogen water helped them exercise for longer and feel less tired afterward.

So, drinking hydrogen water before working out seems to help reduce tiredness and improve how long you can exercise, which is good news for anyone wanting to boost their workout performance.
