Abstract:

In this study, we wanted to see if drinking water enriched with hydrogen could help young female football players feel better and perform better. We carefully selected 38 players from Suzhou Sports School, making sure they were healthy and injury-free. Then, we split them into two groups: one drank regular water (the control group), while the other drank water with added hydrogen.

For two months, the athletes in the hydrogen group drank their special water every day, while the control group stuck to their usual routine. We then looked at various things like their blood and stool samples to see if there were any changes.

The results were fascinating! The players who drank hydrogen water showed improvements in many areas. Their blood showed less stress and inflammation, and their gut bacteria seemed to be healthier too.

Our study suggests that hydrogen-rich water could be a simple and effective way to help athletes feel better and perform at their best. However, more research is needed to confirm these findings.

We made sure to follow all ethical guidelines, getting approval from the Suzhou Sports School's ethics committee before starting our study.
